How can you give a fabric three-dimensionality?⠀

→ The Woven Forms by leonie.burkhardt, which was recognised at one&twenty 2023, takes the craft of weaving into the third dimension. It shows the development of fully-woven sculptural objects created on a Jacquard loom. These forms were achieved by embedding form-giving mechanisms such as multi-layering techniques and heat-reactive shrinking yarn. This means no sewing was needed to create these woven objects.
