How do we dry our hands after washing them? What kind and quantity of resources do we need during that process? Resulting from these questions, an alternative hand dryer covered in moss is proposed. Moss needs water – water that a human being wants to remove. Through this symbiosis, a system that is low-maintenance and self-sufficient is made possible. The drying process utilises the moss’s antibacterial substances, which serve to protect its open cell structure from harmful organisms.
