Bouncing Patterns are 3D textiles with absorbing, cushioning and self-supporting properties. The multilayer hollow structure is lightweight, stiff yet flexible, and endlessly transformable. Challenging jacquard technologies, the aim is to shorten the production process, reduce textile waste and create a durable design, both visually and technically. The innovative weaves could result in unique sculptures along with cutting-edge solutions for acoustic issues, thermal insulation or new upholstery materials.
