A bad mass production piece
Project nameA bad mass production piece
designed asindependent concept
Material specificationLeft over textile material from Dutch industries (cotton, silk)
"A bad mass production piece" is a series of hand-stitched carpets composed of discarded textile material from local Dutch industries. The idea is to reclaim the value of what is normally considered "valueless". More than merely reducing waste, re-using leftover industrial material provides a great opportunity to create unique designs. In this project, it is impossible to reproduce any of the patterns, despite using the same production process.
